So apart from Covent Garden, does anyone know of a nice place? There are so many, we must be able to come up with some kind of alternative. Let's face it, we don't need to be playing chess here, drinking is just as much fun, if not more so! 😵
I would suggest somewhere by the river perhaps. The Old ship in Hammersmith is nice, along with numerous others around there, but it's not so central. One thing i do know, is we have now stumbled across a problem with a centrally located location, that being that a lot of places are closed on weekends. Covent Garden will be open, but very busy and expensive and noisey. We need somewhere cosy, not too much noise, but not completely dead at the same time....

Maybe he will be able to suggest something. He lives in London and is a bit of a party animal so maybe he'll know somewhere we could go.

I don't know the bars well enough to comment though, except for the Northcote (which is more of a sports bar).
